Senior GNC Engineer

We’re working with a venture-backed space company developing a fully reusable satellite platform, technology designed to revolutionise how satellites and payloads are launched by enabling controlled return and reuse. The business is building a next‑generation spacecraft platform from the ground up and has assembled a high‑calibre leadership team from SpaceX, Ursa Major, and Muon. With strong early funding and rapid growth plans, they are now looking to add a Senior GNC Engineer to support upcoming missions. This is a senior, hands‑on role with full ownership of flight‑critical GNC software, working across simulation, flight, and operations in a highly collaborative environment. What you’ll be working on Design, implement, and validate GNC software for a reusable spacecraft platform High‑fidelity 6‑DoF modelling and simulation across mission phases Monte Carlo analysis and end‑to‑end mission validation Development of flight dynamics, orbit determination, and mission planning tools Analysis of ground test data and flight telemetry to improve system performance Supporting spacecraft operations and mission execution What they’re looking for 5+ years of experience in GNC system development within aerospace applications Experience working on systems that have reached flight stage Experience with simulation, modelling, and numerical analysis tools (Python, MATLAB, or similar) Comfortable working across design, test, and operational phases Nice to have Experience with spacecraft or hypersonic vehicle systems Exposure to flight software frameworks (e.g. MAX) Experience with Rust or embedded systems Location Onsite, 5 days per week in Central Denver Compensation Competitive base salary + equity + full benefits If you’re a senior GNC engineer who wants real ownership, direct mission impact, and the opportunity to work on a truly novel spacecraft platform, this is a strong opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr EVONA
