Are you the next "mix master"? A high-volume bakery in Pella is seeking an exceptional person to, well, do a bunch of mixing. This is a high energy but repetitive job that requires physical strength, nuance, attention to detail, as well as the ability to multitask and adapt. Everything is heavy when you go through literally a ton of flour a week.

Responsibilities include mixing doughs, both leavened and not; mixing batters; mixing fillings; really just a bunch of mixing. There will also be some frying and baking time every day.

This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate, with six-figure potential, although starting pay is $18-20/hr, DOE. Raises come quickly with development and self-sufficiency.

Must be reliable, as this role is the backbone of our early morning team. 1am-8am Monday-Saturday. Health insurance is 75% covered, as well as 401k and profit sharing after the first year. 1 week vacation and discounts at the bakery included.
