Position Summary

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities from project start through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader, coordinating subcontractors, managing daily operations, and maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day field operations on assigned projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion
• Enforce safety standards and promote a strong safety culture on-site
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality control across all trades
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress updates
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to minimize delays and cost impacts
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and logs
• Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and company standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven experience managing projects such as commercial, healthcare, industrial, or multi-family developments
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Proficiency with construction management software is a plus
• OSHA certification preferred
