Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) is located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized care in a busy ICU environment, with candidates required to bring their license on the first day. The position supports a community hospital and regional referral center, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Details:

• Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification, 2 years of experience in ICU, travel experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, experience in a travel nursing role.
• Additional Information: CVICU experience is a plus but not mandatory. The unit has 16 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:2, and is equipped with Baxter pumps and uses Medhost electronic health records. The unit requires a primary RN in the Intermediate Care Unit (ICU) and ED holding as needed. Candidates should be flexible to work in a cardiac and trauma environment, with the ability to handle common diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, and Stroke.
