Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in Hawaii, requiring both ER and ICU experience with active HI licensure.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool role in a hospital setting serving ER and ICU patient populations
• May float to other nursing units as a support nurse (not as primary nurse) to assist as needed
• Responsibilities may include telemetry monitoring, patient transport support, patient sitting, and floor expediting
• Serves as a member of the rapid response and code blue teams as needed
• 12-hour evening and night shifts on a variable schedule
• 72–80 hours per two-week pay period

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Both ER and ICU experience are required for this position

Additional Information

• Provides primary care to ER and ICU patients with additional float support to other units as needed
• 13-week contract based on the Big Island of Hawaii
