SUPPORT SERVICES COORDINATOR

• We are hiring immediately for a full time SUPPORT SERVICES COORDINATOR position.
• Location : Coffee Distributing Corp - 200 Broadway, New Hyde Park, NY 11040. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full time schedule. Monday through Friday; 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement : Previous customer service and administrative experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $24.00 per hour to $26.00 per hour.
• Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide responsive, solutions-focused support to clients, using strong written and verbal communication to address questions, resolve concerns, and deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Manage multiple customer orders, requests, and follow-up activities simultaneously, maintaining strong organization, attention to detail, and timely completion of outstanding items.
  • Proactively engage existing and inactive clients to strengthen relationships, identify current needs, and help renew sales and account activity.
  • Take a consultative approach to customer needs, listening carefully and recommending appropriate products or solutions while identifying relevant upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Partner closely with the Customer Experience Manager and cross-functional teams to coordinate customer needs, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless experience from request through completion.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare presentations (Power Point, financial book, hard copy, drafting documents...)
• Supports & participated in communication throughout the region
• Research projects/compilation as needed
• Arrange and coordinate conference calls, region meetings and training sessions
• Prepare and process expense reports, payables, credit card statements and e-transfers
• Prepare/maintain regional staff/client/unit directory database
• Work with Compass payroll and maintain "MAP" Manager Access to Personnel to resolve payroll issues
• Assist with new unit openings & corp. branded programs as needed
• Participate in Be-A-Star as chairperson for region
• Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Performs any other duties as assigned by regional team

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
• Experience speaking effectively before groups of managers
• Experience calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
• Experience in applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Experience in operating a standard computer, including basic use of MS applications such as Excel and Word and PowerPoint
