Industrial Maintenance Technician

We’re hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the buildout and maintenance of a new clean‑technology manufacturing operation. Our electrochemical process reduces carbon emissions compared to traditional methods, and we’re scaling toward industrial deployment.

Location: Westminster, CO

Shift: 1st shift – 6:00–2:30 or 7:00–3:30

Pay: $36–$40/hour

You’ll support equipment installation and ongoing mechanical maintenance. The role starts with 2–3 months of training in Boulder before moving permanently to the Broomfield facility. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑growing startup environment with strong funding and long‑term growth plans.

Responsibilities

• Preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, compressors, motors, and fluid/air systems

• Assist with system and equipment installation

• Read mechanical fabrication drawings

• Help set up CMMS (data entry, workflows) before full maintenance ownership

• Follow safety procedures when working with chemical and pressurized systems

Requirements

• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience

• Ability to read mechanical drawings

• Comfortable working with chemicals and pressurized systems

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, startup, or R&D environments

Preferred Skills

• Fluid or chemical system experience

• P&ID interpretation

• Aluminum extrusion experience

Work Environment

• Overtime available (not guaranteed)

• Climate‑controlled facility

• PPE required: lab coat, hard hat, safety glasses, steel‑toed boots

• Hands‑on, startup environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
