Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU and Emergency Department.
• Perform critical care procedures such as arterial blood gases and intubation assist.
• Administer therapies including CPAP, BiPAP, and aerosol treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for high-risk deliveries and emergencies.
• Ensure equipment readiness and perform troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience, NICU preferred.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT, State License.
• Proven ability to work every 3rd weekend as part of the schedule.
• Experience with adult and pediatric critical care, including trauma settings.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting systems required.
• Adherence to safety protocols, including fit testing for respirator masks.
