Yard Person

Aero has been in business since 1929, providing quality products and services in the heating/cooling industry to all of our customers. We have grown in size and services throughout the years and are continuing that progress. Aero is looking for a full‑time Yard Person in New Oxford, PA. As our Yard Person, you’ll play a key role in keeping our propane cylinder operations running safely and efficiently. This hands‑on position is responsible for inspecting, preparing, and transporting propane cylinders while maintaining a safe, organized yard environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑minded, and enjoys physical, active work. Essential Duties Dump tanks using tank inverters – requires 50 or more pounds of force to manually operate tank inverters. Remove old valves using hand wrench – regularly requires 50 or more pounds of force. Identify and install proper valves using hand wrench. Transport containers to and from various locations on a daily basis. Move tanks between the Yard and Prep Areas – requires lifting in excess of 40 pounds and maneuvering tanks in excess of 100 pounds. Other duties, as assigned.
