Title
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Services

Schedule
4 10-hour shifts, with on-call as required.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS Card
- ACLS certification
- Additional certifications as specified for various units (e.g., ICU, Progressive Care Unit, Cardiac Services, etc.)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties regarding care and procedures.
- Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
- Contribute to a healthy workplace environment and manage conflict using professional communication skills.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records in accordance with facility policies.

Compliance / Notes
- No block scheduling requests; unable to guarantee.
- Participate in continuing education.
