Dental Assistant FT DaysPosition Type Full-Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Diploma/GED Travel Percentage None Category Dental Hygienist & Dental AssistantHourly Pay Rate $23 per hour!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant for a full-time opportunity at Miami Correctional Facility located in Bunker Hill, Indiana. The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting.Essential Duties:Preparing and sterilizing dental instrumentsPreparing and maintaining the dental operatoryOperating radiographic equipmentAdministrative tasks as neededQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredCompletion of a technical school program in dental assisting or minimum six (6) months of experience as a Dental Assistant requiredCertification in Dental Radiology requiredCertification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant preferredMust show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screeningMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
