Staffing depends on acuity. Night Shift – same as above Patient Ratios – 1:1-4:1 Type of equipment – Level 3, oscillators, vents, bubble CPAP, central lines, 23 weeders, ABG machine, pump feeds, telemedicine EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital NICU RN experience BLS & NRP Level III or Level IV NICU experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Prior Meditech experience PICU experience PALS List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Circs, Pneumo taps, intubations, chest tubes (assist with level 3 procedures), no surgeries done at Rose NICU, No Nitric or no head/body cooling. PIV's, medication administration, giving blood, handoffs for communications. Blood draws from arterial, heel and venous. Transitions are observed in NICU, delivery experience as NICU attends all high risk deliveries.
