Perform advanced airway care for infants, pediatric and adult patients to include intubation, extubation and tracheotomy care. Proficiency in the use of High Flow (infant, pediatric and adult, BPAP/CPAP, Ventilators, Bubble CPAP Performs electrocardiograms on infants, pediatrics, and adults in areas throughout the hospital. These areas include the Emergency department, L&D, nursery, ICU, MedSurg and in PMG Implement Cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols for infant, pediatric and adult patients. Alternate functions in the Pulmonary department (but not required) - Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor placement and cardiac stress testing. Performs departmental specific duties. Qualifications Education: Associates required Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
