• 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment

A leading healthcare provider is seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist III to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver high-quality occupational therapy services, serve as a clinical resource for staff and students, and promote excellence in patient-centered rehabilitation care.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist III Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients of all ages and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on clinical assessments, functional needs, and patient goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions while modifying treatment plans as appropriate to maximize functional independence and patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment effectiveness, and adjust interventions to ensure safe, high-quality rehabilitation services.
• Serve as a role model in the delivery of professional occupational therapy services while acting as a clinical resource for staff and students.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist III Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation techniques, treatment planning, rehabilitation principles, and patient care.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
