We are seeking a dedicated and self‑motivated Paint Lab Tec (Paint Mixer) with a strong focus on inventory control to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage the flow of materials within our facility, ensure accuracy in inventory levels, and maintain a high standard of safety and organization. This role is critical in supporting our production operations and will require a proactive approach to problem‑solving and effective communication skills. Requirements Familiar with On Color standards, run trials, and dispense formulas Can use Nova Flow to dispense into pails and maintain operational colorant levels Follows paint‑mixing best practices to ensure consistent results Planned workflow to maximize time when mixing paint Maintains a clean and ready sample spray booth Knows how to use a mil gauge to measure DFT Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook Familiar with the SMT Sample creation process Spray tests all paints before they go to production Can calibrate spectrophotometer and use calibration tiles to test color space values On Color proficiency; creating standards, searching the database, optimizing additives Mix paints using cups and scale Sprays all new SMT color samples for customers and organizes daily spray samples for work orders Mixes paint based on production schedule Capable of spraying samples to correct DFT Employs minimum waste practices (work‑off, unused inventory, balanced formulas) Prepares all product‑application packets each day for production Performs regular maintenance and inspections of Nova Flow and cleaning of filters and spray booth Correctly labels all paints, solvents, and folders Understands the CIE lab and how to interpret data Proficient in using office software to complete daily job requirements Available to work 1st or 2nd shift We offer competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr Superior Metal Technologies, LLC
