As a Store Manager, you will take ownership of all aspects of store performance, including sales growth, team development, customer satisfaction, merchandising, and operational excellence. You will lead from the front, coach high-performing sales professionals, and create an environment where both customers and employees thrive.

This is more than a retail management position. It is an opportunity to lead a business, develop talent, and directly impact revenue and customer outcomes.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will:

• Build and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience from first interaction through post-delivery follow-up.
• Drive store profitability through effective leadership and operational execution.
• Maintain visual merchandising and inventory standards.
• Partner with leadership to execute growth initiatives and maximize market performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

• Own store sales performance and revenue growth.
• Drive achievement of individual and store sales goals.
• Maintain expert knowledge of all iSense products and services.
• Lead product, sales, and customer experience training for associates.
• Monitor sales trends and implement strategies to improve results.
• Utilize traffic and conversion reports to maximize scheduling efficiency.
• Execute sales promotions, community events, and local marketing initiatives.
• Reinforce the iSense Customer Experience at every customer touchpoint.

Team Leadership & Development

• Partner with the Regional Manager on hiring decisions and staffing strategies.
• Conduct onboarding and training for all new associates.
• Coach team members through regular feedback and performance management.
• Conduct performance reviews and development planning.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Create schedules that support both customer demand and business objectives.
• Approve employee time records and maintain payroll accuracy.

Customer Experience

• Champion a best-in-class customer experience.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure associates consistently deliver consultative selling experiences.
• Maintain post-delivery follow-up processes to drive satisfaction and referrals.
• Promote customer loyalty and long-term relationships.

Merchandising & Inventory

• Review sales performance by category and identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and showroom presentation.
• Ensure all inventory is organized, properly maintained, and accurately displayed.
• Execute signage, floor sets, and promotional displays in accordance with company standards.

Operations Excellence

• Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate sales, inventory, and operational records.
• Ensure daily cash handling and reconciliation processes are completed accurately.
• Partner with the Regional Manager to review inventory movement and shipping reports.
• Maintain company equipment, technology, and operating systems.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety reviews and maintain compliance with company policies.
• Verify all shipments are processed and reconciled within established timelines.

Loss Prevention

• Maintain inventory accuracy and operational controls.
• Train associates on loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Monitor transfers, shipments, price changes, and inventory adjustments.
• Coordinate inventory counts and audits as required.
• Ensure security systems and cameras are functioning properly.
• Partner with leadership and Loss Prevention teams on investigations and audit findings.

What You'll Bring

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of retail sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
• Proven success leading teams and delivering sales results.
• Experience in mattress, furniture, luxury retail, or other high-ticket sales environments preferred.
