VP, AI Strategy and Enablement

Our client is a well-established asset management firm headquartered in New York City. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, reporting into both the CTO and COO, and owns the enterprise-wide AI product strategy from ideation through delivery.

What You'll Do

Own end-to-end AI product strategy across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technology, surfacing requirements, driving prioritization, and delivering measurable outcomes. Partner with IT, vendors, and stakeholders to build scalable AI solutions on time and on budget. Translate ambiguous business challenges into clear product requirements. Manage the AI roadmap, dependencies, trade-offs, and timelines. Stay current on AI/ML trends, enterprise software, and governance best practices.

What You'll Bring

10+ years in business analysis or engineering within financial services, with at least 3 years focused on AI or ML. Deep understanding of the full AI/ML product lifecycle, including model development, deployment, and third-party integration. Strong technical acumen across architecture, APIs, model selection, and infrastructure. Proven track record building and scaling enterprise AI solutions with measurable business impact. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences. Hybrid work: 4 days in office, 1 remote, New York City.

Helpful But Not Required

Familiarity with microservices and MCP interfaces. Experience with data platforms such as Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake. AI model training and prompt engineering. Python and data manipulation libraries. Buy-side investment workflows or financial sales and distribution experience.
