PROJECTS & PROGRAMS DIRECTOR - (Job in Orlando, FL) Plan, direct, and coordinate the civil engineering aspects of the company’s projects, systems, and programs to construct, maintain, repair, and reconstruct residential and high-end commercial buildings. Manage the coordination and overall integration of engineering activities using working knowledge of the following engineering systems, methodologies, techniques and tools: AutoCad 2 D, Bluebeam Takeoff, Sap2000 Structural Calculations Software, Procore and FieldWire Construction Software, AIA industry-standards, OSHA policies and standards, Florida building codes, International Engineering and construction codes, and seismic resistant civil engineering principles, techniques, and methodologies. Manage and oversee implementation of important projects. Direct, review, and approve Project Manager’s / engineering staff’s project design changes. Oversee bidding and budgeting operations. Direct project managers’ development of work timelines, labor, and materials requirements, and proposed budgetary guidelines. REQS: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 5 yrs of exp in the job or in engineering positions dealing with construction or reconstruction of residential or high-end buildings. Must also have 1 yr of exp with the listed technical systems, methodologies, techniques and tools. Must also have a Post Tension Certificate and a General Contractor certificate from the State of Florida.
