Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Nights)

Scranton, Pennsylvania

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process on a 30-bed Telemetry unit with a 1:5 or 1:6 patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Incorporate educational requirements and competencies specific to the care of the cardiac patient
• Float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units as required
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Telemetry or Step-Down setting
