Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) located in the specified healthcare facility involves providing specialized nursing care to post-surgical patients, including general, orthopedic, urology, and gynecological cases, along with medical overflow. The role requires collaborative management of telemetry units, supporting patient recovery and safety, and working closely with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Unit notes indicate a clinical team will interview candidates, who will then receive offers based on the facility's decision. The unit is a MedSurg/Telemetry floor with 32 beds and patient ratios of 1:4-6. Experience in telemetry is required, along with skills in managing titratable and set rate drips such as Heparin, Blood, and IV fluids.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification, WA or Compact state license, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, and a medical-surgical background with telemetry experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit manages post-surgical patients with common diagnoses including general, orthopedic, urological, and gynecological cases. The unit employs charge nurses and house supervisors, with off-site monitor techs reading strips that RNs validate and record. All RNs are subject to floating within their scope, and orientation includes 1-2 shifts during onboarding.
