Step into a meaningful contract opportunity working one-on-one with a student requiring dedicated nursing support in an elementary school environment near Athens, GA. You’ll start your day with the student at their home, accompany them safely to school by bus, and ensure their health and well-being throughout both the school day and return trip. This is a highly rewarding position for a caring, experienced LPN seeking to provide essential support to a young learner with complex medical needs.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Georgia LPN license required
• Prior experience in a 1:1 school-based nursing role is highly valued
• Comfortable with g-tube/J-tube feeding, oral suctioning, and oxygen administration
• Experienced in monitoring, supporting, and responding to seizures and asthma
• Able to administer medications as ordered
• Committed to consistent early start times (beginning at the student’s home at 6:30am)
• Able to commit to the full contract period (August 2026 – May 2027)

Role Responsibilities:

• Meet the student at home each morning, ride the bus to school, and return home in the afternoon, following all IEP and medical orders
• Perform g-tube/J-tube feedings and changes as needed
• Provide oral suctioning and supplemental oxygen as required
• Monitor vital signs continuously and respond appropriately to medical needs
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician
• Maintain detailed records of care and communicate effectively with teachers and family
