Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Operating Room experience with Trauma Level I experience required. License: Must possess a valid state nursing license prior to start date. Certifications: BLS is required. ACLS and PALS preferred. Must-Have: - Trauma Level I experience required. - Ability to circulate is required; scrubbing experience is preferred. - Candidates must be well-rounded in various surgical procedures except for Cardiovascular and Transplant surgeries. Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Charge pay is being offered for this role. Call shifts are required, with a total of six call shifts in a six-week period. Holiday shifts are also required, and candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. This role involves a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, gynecology, and trauma. Candidates will be expected to float as needed within the facility. Experience with various surgical techniques and procedures is essential. Knowledge and experience using electronic charting systems is preferred. Additional skills related to robotics and minimally invasive surgeries are a plus. This is a night shift position, requiring dedicated nursing professionals. Candidates must provide two supervisory references as part of the application process. All applicants must be fully licensed and have the required certifications in hand before starting.
