The rate is based on experience, skill level, education, and local factors. Responsibilities Provide furry, feathered, and scaled pets with the best possible care, especially preventive care. Perform veterinary technician appointments under the direction and supervision of a veterinarian and in compliance with state law. Build close relationships with pets and the humans who love them.
