Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong vascular skills and experience with a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia status throughout procedures.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
  
  
• 
  Document all nursing activities and patient responses accurately in Meditech.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Assist with surgical equipment setup, sterilization, and troubleshooting as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with at least 1 year of OR experience.
  
  
• 
  Strong vascular surgery skills preferred.
  
  
• 
  Proficiency in Meditech charting system.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills.
  
  
• 
  Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
