Physician Family Medicine Puyallup

As our Primary Care Family Medicine Physician, you will join an established practice in a convenient and family friendly area in Puyallup. We specialize in diagnosing and treating family medicine patients, making a significant impact on their lives and families.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, BC/BE, and compassionate Family Medicine Primary Care Physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Provide full-spectrum primary care, including preventive care, acute illness treatment, and management of chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) for patients of all ages
• Deliver wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations to support disease prevention
• Counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging
• Offer guidance, counseling, and education on wellness, disease management, and medication adherence to patients and their families
• Act as the first point of contact and coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and social workers
• Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilizing EPIC appropriately
• Provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations
• Participate in primary care division activities, including peer review programs, quality metric improvement, and policy development
• Option of 5- 8 or 4 - 10 hour work days per week
• Compensation ranges from $255,869 - $363,961 /year

We are offering a guaranteed one-year salary, wRVU productivity, and an annual bonus incentive. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance is available

Puyallup, Washington, often pronounced "Pew-AL-up," is a city with a unique blend of small-town charm and growing suburban amenities. Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active, unrestricted license in the state of Washington
• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for the specific practice
• Strong clinical diagnostic skills in an ambulatory setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all ages of patients

Preferred

• At least one year of Family Medicine Primary Care experience
