Job Summary:
The organization seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology in New York, New York. The Clinical Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care within the Radiation Oncology unit, adhering to evidence-based practices and fostering an environment of compassionate, relationship-centered care. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: New York, NY

• Shift Hours: 7.5 hours (8:00 AM 4:00 PM), Monday through Friday
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Active New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) or associate degree with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 2 years of medical surgical/ambulatory care experience preferred; 1 year travel experience preferred for travel positions (not required for per diem); Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience highly preferred.
• Additional Information: Must have radiation oncology experience in an outpatient setting; minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care based on the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in quality and safety initiatives. The role also involves performing charge nurse duties, coordinating supplies, and supporting clinical development.
• Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 37.5 hours per week.
