Auburn, AL Experience: 1 year of pharmacy technician experience Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients Accurately label and package medications Maintain inventory of medications and supplies Enter prescription information into the computer system Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Experience (Qualifications) Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not required Familiarity with medical terminology and common medications is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team Please note that this role may involve working in an acute care or hospital setting, where critical care medications may be administered or infused.
