RN - CVICU

Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) This is a 13-week contract position. Rotating shifts between Day (06:45 - 19:15) and Night (18:45 - 07:15) with weekend requirements every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and one holiday requirement. Weare seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role requires a skilled professional proficient in critical care practices, capable of managing complex patient needs in a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and individualized care to critically ill patients. Monitor hemodynamic status and manage advanced cardiac technologies including CRRT/CVVHD, IABPs, and Impellas. Administer medications and IV therapies, including TPN and blood products. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Floating to other Adult ICUs or telemetry units when census is low in the CVICU. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an ICU setting. Current BSN required. Active PA or compact RN license required at the time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Experience with postoperative heart surgery patients (CABG/valve surgeries) is essential. Why ARMStaffing?
