Job DescriptionProgramme ManagerLocation: Bristol – Hybrid – 3 days per week in the officeFull timeJob DescriptionAt Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.By joining Rolls-Royce, you'll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.The Programme Manager is responsible for the planning, delegation, monitoring and control of all aspects of the project, and the motivation of those involved, to achieve the project’s objectives / output with the expected performance targets of time, cost, quality, scope, benefits and risks, this will be supporting the Electrical Business within Rolls-Royce Solutions UK.What you will be doing:Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work within the projectSecure and manage the provision of resources needed for projects from internal and/or external providersResponsible for the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules.Develop and secure budgets for the project(s) and control the forecast and actual costs against the allocated budgetEstablish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package(s) of work within the project.Act as the focal point and escalation route for all aspects related to the packages of work within the project.Provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders.Identify, address and resolve differences between individuals and / or interest groupsOrganize and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.Ensure the implementation of company management processes are effective & efficient and implement ProjectManagement best practice in line with company management processes.Provide basic guidance to others regarding the Project Management processes and the operation of the projectmanagement systems / tools / methods.Contribution to the local Project Management Community of Practice.Team leadership responsibilities, including the planning and prioritisation of team members work.Position Qualifications:Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experienceIdeally a member of a professional body or working to achieve appropriate level of qualificationAt least 5 years experience in project management or equivalent industry experienceExperience of leading multi-functional teams would be an advantageTo work for the Rolls-Royce Power Systems business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
