What Your Role Will Entail

• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing urgent, short-term, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (aligned with your certifications)
• Informing patients and families about health maintenance, preventive measures, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatment options within professional limits
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing long-term care initiatives
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to offer a cohesive and holistic healthcare experience
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
