Under the supervision of the physician perform quality patient scans and measurements. Handles Radiopharmaceuticals as per guidelines. Injects Radioisotopes into patients accurately and safely. Performs technical and Clerical work as needed. Follows regulating agencies rules and regulations. Performs on-call work. Perform other duties or assignments as required.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.Experience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes EnglishLicense/Certifications • N.M.T.C.B or ARRT (NM) required • New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License.Working ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • Physical demands must include good motor coordination and finger dexterity to operate instruments and to administer radiopharmaceuticals. • Must be able to transfer non-ambulatory and ambulatory patients to and from imaging tables. • Moderate to heavy lifting. • Hand washing and hand hygiene and wear hospital gloves.Job SummaryJob Type: FTEmployment Type: EMPLOYEELocation: Oceanside, NY, US
