Sentara Health Plan is currently hiring a Sr Process Improvement Engineer/ LSSGB for the Health Plan - Remote!

Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours)

Work hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F

Overview

Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes within the organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Uses data-driven methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. Works closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements, monitor outcomes, and ensure the sustainability of improvements.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED

• Master’s degree preferred

Certification/License:

• Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt (LSSBB) highly preferred

Experience

• 5 years of process improvement or healthcare management REQUIRED

• Health plan experience highly preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $105,185.60 - $167,003.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
