Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

Provide comprehensive, effective, care to any patient transported by McLeod Heart Network Ambulance.

Maintains positive communication (written and spoken) when collaborating with healthcare facilities.

Adheres to all McLeod and South Carolina EMS DHEC policies and protocols.

Attends all required meetings and educational meetings.

Maintains certifications and licenses as mandated by the position.

Completes documentation (written and electronic) per policy.

Stocks and cleans ambulances and medical equipment per policy.

Identifies and quickly treats any potentially life-threatening situations.

Qualifications/Training

Must be able to use electronic documentation to enter patient's transport information.

A minimum of (3) years with a busy 911 system.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education

Must have a current South Carolina Paramedic Certification.

Must have a National Registered Paramedic certification.

Must have and maintain a South Carolina Driver's license ACLS, PALS(or equivalent), BLS certifications are required.

Preferred Certifications: FP-C, CCP-C, or CCEMT-P
