Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Chester, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen individuals entering the location by verifying credentials, following visitor processing steps, and documenting security-related concerns in accordance with post instructions. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Monitor entry points, lobbies, and/or designated screening areas to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Minimum Requirements: CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
