Job Summary:
Twin Fountains Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a talented Cook to join our culinary team! As a vital member of our food services department, you will play a key role in providing high-quality meals to our residents and staff. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent cooking skills, a passion for food, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for residents and staff
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
Develop and implement creative and appealing menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and resident preferences
Order and receive food supplies, manage inventory, and minimize waste
Collaborate with other food service staff to ensure seamless meal service
Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and waste
Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a healthcare food services setting a plus
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
