Title: Oracle Developer

Location: Buffalo, NY - Hybrid

Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 + Bonus potential

Responsibilities

  • Configure, develop, and support Oracle Fusion/Utilities applications across functional areas such as HCM, customer systems, and operations platforms
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations, extensions, reports, and data extracts within Oracle environments
  • Support data migration efforts including conversion, validation, and reconciliation
  • Partner with architects and data teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain performance and reliability
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation support
  • Document system configurations, integrations, and technical designs for long-term maintainability
  • Work with third-party vendors and implementation partners to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainable support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise application development or systems analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion/Utilities Cloud or similar ERP platforms
  • Experience supporting configurations, integrations, and extensions in enterprise systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Specialization in one or more areas:

  • HCM (Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, Security)
  • Customer systems (billing, CRM, customer information systems)
  • Operations platforms (asset management, field service, scheduling)
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or platform transitions
  • Background in regulated industries (utilities, energy, financial services)
  • Strong documentation skills and cross-functional communication capabilities
