The Opportunity

As a Folder Gluer Feeder/Packer, you play a key role in ensuring that die\u2011cut blanks are accurately fed into the folder\u2011gluer and that finished folding cartons are correctly packed into corrugated cases. Your work directly supports production flow, product quality, and on\u2011time order fulfillment while maintaining cleanliness and safety in your work area.

How You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock

• Feed die\u2011cut blanks into the folder\u2011gluer and pack finished cartons into cases to meet order requirements.

• Visually inspect cartons for printing, die\u2011cutting, and gluing defects throughout the feeding and packing process.

• Verify case counts in coordination with the Quality department.

• Participate in line\u2011clearance procedures after each item run is completed.

• Support other areas as needed, including QA sorting and flat\u2011packing.

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and quality goals.

What You Need to Succeed

• Ability to read and understand basic instructions.

• Ability to pass a color\u2011vision test.

• Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.

• Good attendance and reliability.

• Ability to identify and report quality issues.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including during peak production periods.

• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

The starting rate is $16, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
