Overview Licensed Practical Nurse – Long‑Term Care | Waterloo, NY, United States Travel assignment starts 07/07/2026 for 14 weeks. Shift: 5x8 Nights. Weekly pay: $1,305–$1,377. Work setting: skilled nursing facility. This temporary assignment requires weekend and holiday coverage as part of the schedule. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,305–$1,377 per week Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: Nights, 5 days per week (5x8) Start date: 07/07/2026 Work setting: Skilled nursing facility Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric residents under the supervision of a registered nurse. Collect data on residents’ physical and psychosocial status and communicate findings to the RN and interdisciplinary team. Contribute to development and ongoing refinement of the resident care plan, incorporating patient and family input and coordinating with the health care team. Monitor resident status, reassess as needed, and initiate referrals to address all aspects of care. Maintain current nursing knowledge, participate in in‑service programs, and assist with orientation or mentoring of staff. Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements; collaborate with physicians, staff, and ancillary teams. Requirements Active NY Licensed Practical Nurse license BLS certification (American Heart Association or RQI required) Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; LTC experience preferred Ability to work nights and to cover weekends/holidays as required by the schedule Demonstrated ability to care for adult and geriatric patients Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to participate in an interdisciplinary care approach Benefits and Support Travel assignment support from the staffing organization 24/7 recruiter and travel support Credentialing and onboarding assistance to expedite start Assignment‑specific support and resources Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
