Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active Nursing License Certifications: None Required Must-Have: Telemetry experience Advanced skills in managing cardiac patients post-procedure. Description: This is a Cardiac Specialty Unit with 26 beds. Patient ratios on the unit are 1:4. The staffing includes a Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, PCT, and Unit Secretary. Equipment used includes pacemakers. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Self-scheduling is available for staff. Weekends require three weekend shifts within a four-week period on day shift. Four weekend shifts are required within a four-week period on night shift. There are no on-call requirements. Staff may float to Telemetry or Med/Surg units as needed. There are no specific certifications required for this position. The required uniform comprises royal blue tops and black pants. Candidates should review unit-specific policies and guidelines related to hospital-wide procedures. This is a newly established Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit.
