Behavioral Health LVN/LPN

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our behavioral health team, providing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key responsibilities include administering medications and treatments with accurate documentation, performing data entry with training provided, delivering care under RN supervision following facility guidelines, conducting nursing tasks to address patient health needs, and communicating effectively with team members and patients.

Qualifications include an active Texas LVN/LPN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience with 2+ years preferred, skills in advanced nursing procedures, current CPR certification, strong communication skills, experience with large medication passes is a plus, valid photo ID and TB documentation required, and passing a drug screen and background check.

Schedule includes variable shifts: 6 AM to 2 PM or 2 PM to 10 PM, 40 hours/week with potential for 16-hour shifts, rotational weekends, and every third weekend off.

Additional information includes a 6-week orientation with comprehensive training, nurses may float between units as needed, and low patient ratios adjusted for patient needs.
