The Department of Biology and Geology at Baldwin Wallace University is hiring for a tenure-track faculty position beginning in August 2027. The Department seeks an individual with experience in teaching, mentoring, and research with a diverse undergraduate student body. A Ph.D. in biology, microbiology, virology, cell biology, or a related discipline is required. Successful candidates will teach Microbiology, Immunology, introductory-level classes, and specialized courses in their area of expertise. Candidates are expected to develop and conduct laboratory experiences with undergraduates, participate in curriculum development and assessment, professional development activities, university and departmental service, as well as faculty governance.
Founded in 1845, Baldwin Wallace University is an independent, coeducational University in the liberal arts tradition. Located 15 miles southwest of downtown Cleveland, Baldwin Wallace enrolls approximately 2,515 undergraduate students, and 400 graduate students.
