Our client seeks a Scrum Master / Project Manager to support SAP BAU initiatives with focus on OTC enhancements. The role will manage end-to-end delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models, including planning, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, status reporting, budget tracking, change control, and risk and issue management. The successful candidate will demonstrate SAP project management experience, familiarity with security and compliance, strong communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Partner with SAP OTC, RTR, PTP, and PTD teams to define and manage backlog, priorities, dependencies, timelines, and delivery plans.

• Establish and manage project plans across schedule, cost, scope, quality, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.

• Coordinate activities across matrixed teams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches as appropriate.

• Identify dependencies across workstreams, determine critical path, and communicate key tasks and milestones.

• Identify variances to plan and develop mitigation or corrective action plans with project team members.

• Monitor deliverables against approved scope, schedule, and budget, and escalate concerns with impact statements and options.

• Identify, document, communicate, and manage risks throughout the lifecycle, securing stakeholder alignment on responses.

• Engage stakeholders at the appropriate level and cadence to enable timely decisions and issue resolution.

• Tailor communications to audience needs and synthesize information into concise, actionable updates.

• Maintain accurate artifacts including status reports, RAID logs, schedules, forecasts, decision logs, change requests, and communication plans.

• Record and monitor actuals and forecasts against budget, escalating budget risks and financial impacts as needed.

• Recommend process adjustments when appropriate and gain consensus from stakeholders.

• Leverage best practices, technical knowledge, and organizational awareness to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.

• Mentor others on project management methods, practices, and tools, and seek opportunities to improve delivery effectiveness.

Experience Requirements:

• Seven or more years of IT experience with significant technology project management.

• Prior SAP project management experience with understanding of SAP technology, integrations, and related requirements.

• Experience supporting security, compliance, and identity/access management projects.

• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industries preferred.

• Experience with Jira or similar Agile lifecycle tools preferred.

• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

• PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or related certifications preferred.

• Experience with ServiceNow or SPM preferred.

• Competent understanding of Waterfall values, processes, and governance.

• Competent understanding of Agile values, ceremonies, and delivery practices.

• Ability to manage complex projects with integration points and cross-functional dependencies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Clarity, Jira, or comparable platforms.

• Ability to influence, facilitate decision-making, manage conflict, and drive alignment while considering diverse perspectives.

• High adaptability to changing priorities, ambiguity, and evolving needs.

• Strong situational awareness and appropriate assertiveness.

• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, accountability, and quality outcomes.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
