Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking for passionate about building enterprise-scale data solutions and modern analytics platforms? We are looking for a Data Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise Semantic Layer leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Power BI . This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of data architecture and self-service analytics within a leading technology organization. Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and implement enterprise semantic models using Microsoft Fabric , OneLake , Direct Lake , and Power BI . Build scalable, reusable, and governed semantic layers across Finance, Operations, Marketing, HR, and Technology. Define enterprise standards for data modeling, certified datasets, reusable measures, and semantic model governance. Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) , Object-Level Security (OLS) , sensitivity labels, and enterprise governance policies. Ensure SOX-compliant data lineage, audit controls, and change management for financial reporting. Design integrations between Microsoft Fabric and BI platforms including Power BI , Tableau , Qlik Sense , MicroStrategy , Grafana , and Excel. Enable AI-driven analytics by integrating semantic models with Azure OpenAI , Anthropic Claude , and other LLM-powered solutions. Collaborate with business leaders and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions. Lead architecture reviews, establish best practices, and provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams. Required Skills 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture , Solution Architecture , or Analytics Engineering . Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric , Power BI , Semantic Layer Architecture , and Data Modeling . Experience with Direct Lake , OneLake , Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Fabric Lakehouses. Advanced knowledge of DAX , composite models, aggregation tables, and deployment pipelines. Experience implementing enterprise data governance, RLS, OLS, dataset certification, and metadata management. Strong understanding of SOX Compliance , audit controls, and enterprise data governance. Experience integrating third-party BI platforms and AI/LLM technologies with enterprise semantic models. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and solution architecture skills. Preferred Skills Microsoft Purview, Alation, or Collibra XMLA Endpoints & Tabular Editor Ideal Candidate Experience working with FAANG, leading product-based, or top-tier technology companies . Proven ability to design enterprise-scale data architectures and analytics platforms. Strong leadership experience driving architecture decisions and collaborating with executive stakeholders.
