As the Executive Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the community while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and resident-centered care. - Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all community operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers to achieve operational and organizational goals.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused culture throughout the community.
- Ensure exceptional resident satisfaction through proactive communication and timely resolution of concerns.
- Oversee financial performance, including budget preparation, expense management, and operational planning.
- Monitor occupancy goals and collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to support community growth through tours, outreach, and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing senior living communities.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
- Facilitate regular leadership meetings, staff training, and performance evaluations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a senior living community, including Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) settings.
- Proven leadership, team development, and operational management experience.
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Sales and marketing experience within senior living is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk throughout the community and perform routine inspections.
- Ability to respond to emergencies as needed.
