Travel Registered Nurse - ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), every other weekend required.

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be proficient in managing complex health needs of ICU patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
Monitor vital signs and patient condition, administering medications and treatments as needed.
Manage ventilators and vasoactive drips effectively.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document all patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active Alabama or Multistate Registered Nurse License (no prior NURSYS hits).
ACLS and BLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of ICU Registered Nurse experience.
Experience with vented patients and vasoactive drips is required.
Cerner experience is preferred.
Must reside 50+ miles from the facility.
