This full-time position requires individuals who hold a valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). With a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the mental well-being of our clients.

As a counselor at Braver Perspective, you will have access to a virtual outpatient office, equipped with advanced remote communication technologies for both in-person and online therapy sessions. Our approach merges traditional therapy modalities with innovative digital platforms, ensuring accessibility and convenience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Assess and diagnose clients using a variety of data-driven methodologies to track their responses to treatment.

  • Tailor therapeutic interventions to meet the individual needs of clients, adjusting treatment plans between sessions as necessary.

  • Perform crisis management and intervention when needed, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
  • \n
  • Provide comprehensive psychotherapy using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic approaches.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other relevant documentation tools.

  • Collaborate with case management services to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with clients dealing with a variety of mental health conditions, including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), anxiety disorders, Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma histories, and issues related to grief and loss. Our therapeutic focus is on fostering a non-judgmental, empathetic environment where clients feel safe to share their experiences and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

  • Valid licensing in Washington State as LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW is essential, in compliance with state regulations.

  • Proven experience in employing various psychotherapy modalities and familiarity with a broad spectrum of mental health disorders.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, crucial for building trust with clients.
  • \n
  • No history of medical malpractice claims verified by a third party.
  • \n
  • Authorization to work in the United States is a must.
