Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations and repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to small engine repair.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in small engine repair is a plus.
- Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
