Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team at a prestigious private golf and country club. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has experience managing multiple stations while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and chef specifications.
- Work assigned stations, including:
- Grill
- Sauté
- Fry
- Pantry (salads, cold appetizers, desserts, and garnishes)
- Maintain consistency, quality, and proper portion control.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and kitchen closing duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Position Qualifications
- 1–3 years of line cook experience in a restaurant, country club, hotel, or similar high-volume kitchen.
- Experience working grill, sauté, fry, and pantry stations.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Availability: Ability to work any day of the week, any shift, holiday except Christmas
