Pediatric Physician Opportunity

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fulltime board certified or board eligible general pediatric physician to join an outstanding pediatric program in Harris Creek. The pediatric physician will provide direct patient care. This is an employed position with a competitive salary, moving allowance, a comprehensive benefits package and no state income tax.

Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a hard-working, team player with a favorable work and/or training history. Candidates should also be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide optimum care for each patient.

About McLane Children's Medical Center:

Our five-story McLane Children's Specialty Clinic is located next to our free-standing Children's Hospital in Temple, Texas. The hospital features 112 patient beds: forty-eight private medical/surgical rooms, sixteen private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24-hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV, forty-eight bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty. Alternatively, they must show effective pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
