Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - PCU

Job Description:
- Shift: 19:00 - 07:00
- Location: Englewood, CO
- Unit: SRG Cardio / (639)
- Number of Beds: 30
- Staff: 65 (1 Charge RN, 5-8 RNs, 2-4 PCTs Day Shift; 1 Charge RN, 5-8 RNs, 2-3 PCTs Night Shift)
- Patient Ratios: 1:4, often 1:5

Key Equipment:
- Tele monitors
- Transport monitors
- Suction devices
- Feeding pumps
- BIPAP & CPAP
- Chest tubes
- IV pumps
- SCD pumps

EMR System:
- Meditech

Skill Set Required:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU hospital experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

Preferred Skills:
- Chest tube management (removal & insertion)
- 12-lead EKGs
- O2 management (up to BIPAP & heated hi-flow)
- Specialty drips (heparin, diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, dobutamine, milrinone, ketamine)

Typical Procedures:
- Post-catheterization care
- Open-heart surgical patient care (CABGs, MVRs, AVRs)
- Neurovascular checks
- Vascular surgery post-operative care
